Roly-Poly Standing Lamps

Roly-Poly lamp derives from the popular toy of the same name, its shape paired with a matching mode of operation: a weight hidden in the sphere holds the lamp tilted out of the vertical axis, and the user can rotate the light freely to any direction. The entire body is of enamelled steel sheets. The outer mantle of the funnel receives scouring light from inside the sphere, suggesting a thick, glowing piece of glass, an illusion due to the fluid character of the enamel. The indirectly lit elements make the lamp suitable for mood lighting.
